Scott Bakula after NCIS: New Orleans is set to return to CBS with a new procedural drama, which is currently in early development at the network. Bakula will star in and executive produce the untitled project, written and executive produced by Perception co-creator Michael Sussman, who previously worked with Bakula on Star Trek: Enterprise. The drama, described as a high-concept detective procedural set in Los Angeles, marks a significant departure from Bakula's character on NCIS: New Orleans.
