John Meise, a 36-year-old man from Waukesha, died after collapsing at the Milwaukee Lakefront Half Marathon on Sunday morning. He was pronounced dead at the hospital and later identified as the father of four, who was remembered by his family as "the best dad" and "the center of his family's world".
