Review Highlights

AI-summarized critic and audience reaction, pulled from the Fan & Critic Buzz on their highest-rated films with us.

“The public reaction to "All About Eve" is mixed but overwhelmingly positive. The film's performances, particularly Bette Davis' Oscar-winning portrayal of Margo Channing, are widely praised. However, some reviewers find the story and dialogue lacking, calling it "entertaining but not fantastic." A few critics also note that the film's Academy Awards were unusually high, with two wins for Joseph L. Mankiewicz's screenplay and direction.”
