Full Plot
In 1850, a village chief named Thangalaan shares an ancient legend about Aarathi, a sorceress who protected the land from invaders. The story revolves around her tribe's expertise in extracting gold and their battle with a king seeking to claim it. As the tale unfolds, Thangalaan's own life becomes entangled with the legend, as he faces displacement and debt bondage at the hands of local authorities.
