In rural Madurai, 2005, Paruthiveeran "Paruthi" lives in a village where caste segregation is prevalent. Raised by his maternal uncle and mother after his parents' death, he's known for his misbehavior and petty crimes. Despite being the object of affection from his cousin Muththazhagu since childhood, Paruthi remains unmoved until she finally accepts his love, prompting their families to clash over their union.
