A young Airtel employee moves into a new home with his family in Tuticorin, still grieving the recent loss of his father. Tensions rise when he clashes with Pasupathy, brother of a powerful waterfront mafia leader, leading to a deadly threat against him. The family is forced to flee but is later captured and held hostage by the mafia leader's goons until the election ends.
